Release Overview

The Certent Disclosure Management (DM) Platform August 22, 2020 Update includes support for 2020 Document and Entity Information (DEI) TaxonomyDictionary-like XBRL classifications that describe the context of data in financial statements and business documents., user stories, and bug fixes.

User Stories

• Invalid markups message when generating inline XBRLExtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) is an XML-based standard for defining and exchanging business and financial performance information. from filing wizard
• Treat value as nil to text with elementThe representation of a financial reporting concept, including: line items in the face of the financial statements, important narrative disclosures, and rows and columns in tables. will enforce nil instance document value
• Add 5 more years to Document Fiscal Year option in Reporting Properties
• Update taxonomy conversion wizard to support 2020 DEI (Documentation and Entity Information) taxonomy
• For an existing 2020 taxonomy, update the DEI (Documentation and Entity Information) from 2019 to 2020

Bug Fixes

• Section break at end of section does not give proper message
• Xule and Instance Validation errors in iXBRL Validator after 2020 conversion
• Extensible Lists not showing in iXBRL document
