Add Element to Calculation

To add an elementThe representation of a financial reporting concept, including: line items in the face of the financial statements, important narrative disclosures, and rows and columns in tables. into an existing calculation:

  1. With the taxonomyDictionary-like XBRL classifications that describe the context of data in financial statements and business documents. checked out, on the Disclosure Management ribbon, click Taxonomy, then Calculation View.
  2. Right click on an element either before or after where you want to add the new element, then click Insert Existing Element, then Before or After.
  3. Click on the element you'd like to add, then click OK. Use Filter by Report to see specific top level groups, if needed.
