View Gridlines

Gridlines are gray dotted lines that display the row and column structure of a table in Microsoft Word. Using gridlines may be helpful when formatting and linking.

To turn gridlines on or off, on the Table Tools: Layout ribbon, click View Gridlines. If the ribbon is not visible, click inside a table.

Gridlines do not print or show in HTML.
