Dot Leaders

You may like to remove dot leaders (or "dotted leaders") from native Word tables in your report if you are filing in HTML. Because of the way the effect is created in Microsoft Word, it is not fully supported in the HTML conversion. The lines may appear uneven length, and do not spread out to the width of the page like the table columns do. Instead, you may like to use the conventional Table Banding to aid in visually displaying the rows.

To remove dot leaders:

1. Select the entire table.
2. On the Layout ribbon, click the launch button in the bottom right of the Paragraph section.
3. In the Paragraph window, click Tabs.
4. In the Leader section, select 1 None. Click OK.
