Release Overview

The Certent Disclosure Management (DM) Platform August 2019 update includes updates for Inline XBRLExtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) is an XML-based standard for defining and exchanging business and financial performance information. and Single Sign On.

Inline XBRL

  • Resolved a bug for specific reports where the Inline XBRL Preview would load a blank window.
  • Improved the user experience of previewing iXBRL from the Preview button. The four stages of the generation process are displayed (Generate Facts, Prepare Facts for Inline XBRL, Generate Inline XBRL Document, and Send Inline Document to Server for Rendering), along with their status. A green circle indicates complete; a yellow circle indicates processing. See Preview Inline XBRL.
  • Resolved a bug regarding pagination issues in the Inline XBRL rendering from Print Preview/Print.
  • Added support for the circumflex character using the decimal character reference.
  • Added a red error message within Certent DM validation to identify decimal item type elements missing required units of measure (if this occurred there was no error/warning notifying the user and the Inline XBRL package would fail to generate).
  • Resolved an issue where hyperlinks to bookmarks within Word fail in Inline XBRL rendering, but not standard EDGARElectronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR), is a SEC system used by public companies to transmit filings of annual and quarterly reports and other disclosures. HTML.
