Filter
To review the XBRLExtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) is an XML-based standard for defining and exchanging business and financial performance information., you can use a filter within your DM Word report.
- Open the Filter Selections window
- In the Disclosure Management ribbon, click Tool Box > Filters > Create/Edit Filter, or
- Click the Filter , at the top of the Filters pane on the Report Review tab
- Select Filter Criteria
Filter Criteria can be combined to yield specific information. For example:- In the Filter Selections window, click the drop down arrow in the Field column, and select one of the listed options as the first desired filter criteria. Approved = no is the most commonly used selection
- Note that multiple filter selections can be selected in this window using the And/Or operators
- Click the drop down arrow in the Value column, and select the desired section. The selection made in the Field column drives which values are available in the Value column
- To add another filter, go to the next line in the window. Click the drop down in the Field column. Select Approved. Be sure And is selected in the And/Or column
- Click the drop down in the Value column and select No. Click OK

- Review Filter Results
- The selections display in the Explorer pane
- Click each filter result in the Explorer pane. Once a result is highlighted and the Report Section is checked out, it can be approved or a comment can be added a to the tagA tag renders a value in XBRL, made up of an element, a calendar, numeric units and a member, if needed.
