New Project
To roll forward a project along with its reports, use Copy Project. To create a completely new project for new filings or reports, follow the steps below.
To create a new project:
- On the upper right of the DMCThe Disclosure Management Console (DMC) is the browser-based part of the DM platform used to create and manage projects and reports., click the New DM Content book icon, then click Project.
- In the Name field, enter a name for the new project. For organization, you may like to begin projects name with the year and period, followed by the form type and description.
Note: Project names must be unique within a company. See Naming Conventions for Projects, Reports, and Groups for more information.
- Click Submit and then OK to create the new project, which appears at the bottom of the Projects Page until reports are added.
To create a new project, or folder, click the book icon at the top right of the screen, and then select Project. Give the project a name, such as year, period, and a description of the filing. Click Submit, and then click OK. Your new project shows at the bottom of the Projects page, where you can now start to add new reports. Once you add a new report to the project, the most recently used projects will be at the top of the page. Rather than creating a new project when you're rolling forward quarter to quarter or year over year, instead, use Copy Project.
