Filing Wizard

From the Filing Wizard, you can:

Create EDGARized HTML files of a report and exhibits and an XBRLExtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) is an XML-based standard for defining and exchanging business and financial performance information. filing package
Test file to check for errors and warnings
Live file with the SEC

Before You Begin

Prior to filing, verify the following:

Your SEC Credentials are available (CIK, CCCThe CIK Confirmation Code (CCC) is a case-sensitive code used with the CIK to submit an EDGAR filing. The CCC is eight characters long, with a minimum of one number (0-9) and a minimum of one special character (@, #, &, *)., and Password), and your password is not expired
Your Timing of Filing is planned with sufficient time to spare and during EDGAR Hours of Operation
Your Account Balance on EDGAR will sufficiently cover Filing Fees, if appropriate
XBRL tagging is complete
Validation is complete, with errors cleared and warnings reviewed
Review HTML is complete and the output is acceptable
All reports to be filed are checked in (Available status), to ensure changes from all users are included in the filing
Test filing is complete, with no errors or warnings (Filing Wizard will also test file again as part of the filing process)
Live File button is turned on (enabled). Email your enable request to support@certent.com 24 hours before filing.

Filing Wizard Process

1. Open Filing Wizard

Launch the DM Word report that corresponds to your SEC filing (for example, 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K). On the Disclosure Management ribbon, click Filing Wizard.
